About Dezign Elements
Design Elements, a prominent building design firm situated in Rockhampton, Central Queensland, is dedicated to delivering exceptional design solutions. Established in 2014 by the creative Nathan Burke, our firm has cultivated strong relationships with a diverse spectrum of clients, builders, developers, consultants, and businesses across Queensland.
While our primary focus revolves around the Central QLD region, Dezign Elements boasts the capability to undertake projects throughout the entirety of Queensland. Our expertise lies in crafting bespoke designs for new dwellings, orchestrating substantial renovations/extensions, providing comprehensive commercial design and documentation services, as well as engaging in industrial/mine projects and offering project management services.

Nathan
Nathan is a seasoned building designer based in Rockhampton, Central Queensland, with an extensive 18-year tenure in the construction industry. Hid journey began at CQ University in 2006, culminating in the attainment of a Bachelor of Building Design and the acquisition of a Medium Building Design License through the QBCC (Queensland Building Construction Commission).
Nathan commenced his career in an esteemed architectural firm in Rockhampton, dedicating 15 years to honing his skills on diverse projects statewide. In 2014, he established Dezign Elements, initially juggling this venture alongside my role in the architectural firm. Over the years, the firm has flourished, transitioning into my full-time commitment in 2021, positioning Dezign Elements as a leading force in the Central Queensland Region.
His passion for design and aiding clients in realising their projects is unwavering. Leveraging his wealth of experience and knowledge, Nathan takes pride in guiding clients through their endeavours to achieve optimal outcomes.
Embedded in his design philosophy are key values:
- Aesthetics should marry functionality; my designs not only look appealing but also seamlessly serve their intended purpose.
- Embracing the uniqueness of each site and / or house, I advocate for custom designs that harmonize with their environment. There's no such thing as a one-size-fits-all plan in my approach.
Natasha
Over the past decade, Natasha delved into the construction industry, gaining valuable experience by building a new home and completing a significant renovation. Building runs in her family, with both her father and grandfather being builders, Natasha practically grown up on construction sites.
Natasha’s professional journey began in the retail sector, where she dedicated 16 years before transitioning into an administration role at an engineering firm in 2021. Midway through 2022, Natasha embraced a full-time position at Dezign Elements, contributing her skills to the administration and accounts side.
In addition to her commitment to the construction field, she holds a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping, a Certificate II in Store Operation, and a Certificate III in Business Administration, showcasing her diverse skill set and dedication to professional growth.
